Changing Perceptions.....

>>>>"Why do you define people as 'poor?'
What measures are you using?">>>>

>>We could start with the half a million children under the age of five who are starving to death and dieing of treatable ailments in Iraq (Do to the US imposed sanctions). I often think "poor kids" when I think of them. Yep, children dying because they are denied food, and basic medical care; that's a good place to start with in our definition. Madeline Albright says it is worth it though. I still haven't figured out what she is equating as the worth.>>

Brees:

Ok.

Got it.

But let's remove the conditional, baited hook - ie. "because of U.S. imposed sanctions."

When we bait, hook and judge, we close off the unlimited energy that could be released if we were to forgive the U.S., forgive Saddam and forgive ourselves from pointing fingers and assigning blame.

For it's the judgment, finger pointing and blame that creates the black holes which separate us from each other and remove true wealth and aubundance from our reach.

Looking into the dark void to cast blame only keeps us and others from facing the light to embrace forgiveness and love.

We aren't creating any light, energy and trust when we assign/cast blame and judgment. All we do is confuse others into thinking we are caring/serving and thinking of others.

Instead we should reach out and partner with one person on the outside of this paradigm who can reach in with us to help.

There's no excuse to assign blame along any front. Children are our future. I don't buy blaming Saddam or the U.S.

What can you and I do to help someone in need over there?

I'd be very interested in working with you to set an example which we could share with others.

Peace.

GO!!
