IMHO, the very reasons you think JDSU is not a good long term hold are the ones that make it so. SDLI, like OCLI and ETEK, is a natural fit. There are no cultural differences here. I have no idea what will happen tomorrow. I would like to think that JDSU's inclusion will follow the same path as YAHOO and BRCM, but there are forces at play that I don't even pretend to comprehend. That's why for me, long term is right. These blips along the way, are just that. Annoying little blips.

My experience in the market is very limited. But I liken it to the tide. It takes six hours for the tide to come in and when it starts nothing can stop it. I think what happens in the market takes months to develop and nothing can stop it. Certainly not yesterdays news. And I believe that JDU has been building for a long time and nothing will stop it. They are too far ahead.

My thoughts, for what they're worth.
