The rumor that Inrange is "in" at IBM may have some basis in fact

but it does not necessarily follow that McData is "out" as Gus has pointed out.
It should be noted though that Inrange has also been selling ESCON and
ESCON-FICON_DWDM directors to Big Blue shops.

If there is any displacement, it might have more to do with politics than technology.
The reason could simply be "We hate EMC along with all their kith and kin." <G>
