One of them is PC Club which has quite a few locations in So. Cal. They were running a special deal on TBird 800 MHz systems which have a special certification from the American Internet Gaming League. Anyhow, the first 80 systems they sold on July 22 were $200 off at $1099. They were fully outfitted with 128M, your choice of Hercules or Elsa GTS GeForce2 32M video cards, etc. I counted 4 other firms selling TBird systems and 3 selling Duron systems. A week ago, I think the numbers were 3 and 2. Not many Duron systems yet, but probably the result of scarce motherboards being allocated to the more profitable, higher MHz, TBirds. In the San Deigo SD-shop market there are almost no Celerons above 533 MHz, so the lack of Durons is probably not resulting in less AMD market share, but is stopping AMD from gaining market share.
