I think there is a presumption that AMD will be able to sell all the Athlons it can make (double last quarter) at the higher price point.

Rather than calling them Athlons, let's call tham K7s, because most of the increase will come in form of Duron with prices $75 to $150.

It just seems that on both threads people feel that it will be easy for AMD to double Athlon sales, and I'm less convinced that will happen.

If the prediction that the demand will outpace the supply in Q3 and Q4, it's a non-brainer. If the supply catches up, then we can argue.

AMD will be able to sell all the microprocessor they make, the only question is at what prices.
