YES.I believe this whole spin off is based on the ability of spinco to cross license with gsm IPR without jeopordizing qcom royalty position.

It really depends on how they will negotiate the cross licensing issue but it does not make sense.I expect to hear a lot more in the coming weeks that will clarify the picture.There is something that is the underlying reason for such a move.
