Banc of America Securities and Chase Hambrecht & Quist both downgraded e-commerce product provider Remedy Corp. (NASDAQ: RMDY) Wednesday.

-- BoA noted Remedy reported disappointing 2Q00, sales force turnover problems and some new products not gaining expected traction.

-- Lowered estimates slightly and price target to $65. Remedy was down 19-15/64 at 22-7/8 on Wednesday morning.
-- BoA lowered rating to buy from strong buy.
-- Chase cut Remedy from buy to market perform. No details.
