Hi Rudedog,
RE: CPQ is no longer planning to port Tru64 to Itanium.

If I were CPQ management, I would invest in porting Tru64 to Itanium. Why cut off the extra life line I might get for this OS? I have in other words I would give my Tru64 customers a choice of hardware they want to buy. Not being forced to a given hardware vendor.

But again by porting Tru64 to Itanium, CPQ might be shooting the Alpha project all together.

CPQ is caught between rock and hard place, on this issue.
