Hello Sonki. Taking profits. I guess it does not hurt in this environment. Sheesh. The NAZ has been doing terrible the last week, not counting the cpl points yesterday. Analysts thought this morning that the NAZ would hit around 3870? and then go back up to 4000. So far, so good. Just a regular yo yo game lately.

JDSU. I just sold my last JDSU at close to 136. I know, with JDSU going into the S&P 500 after the close, it's probably a bit too early. But there is a big block of shares outstanding to sell and with the purchase of SDLI I don't want to get too greedy. I am hoping to pick it up again once all the buying and selling frenzy stops next week or it goes down a bit. I almost sold my MRVC by association but read in time about their IPO of Luminent. You may want to give this a look for the future. I am checking it out further.

At least I don't have to hold my breath when JDSU announces today. That leaves my VRSN. It's always good for a big drop at the slightest little thing and even good earnings have driven stocks down. But Mary Meeker called VRSN a MUST hold stock. A 50 to 60% grower for the next 4 to 5 years. So I guess I will hold it through thick and thin. At least for now. gg. I hope my memory is correct and it was M.Meeker who said this. It was def. one of the big guns.

Wow. Your SUNW really moved yesterday.

Msft IS having a hard time lately. Msft filed an appeal with the Supreme Court to send the GVT suit back to the lower court.

Msft is also joining some cos. on going after my AOL. AOL has 90% of the IM market. But AOL did not get there by threats. They worked for it and bought out some cos. Now all the losers want a piece of the pie.

Dell is hanging in there even when the NAZ was really down. Intc is a bummer today but at least I don't own RMBS anymore.

I think Frank got tired of posting like a lot of our crowd that used to be active.

I am still looking for the markets to be up nicely by the end of the year. I guess we have to do a little trading in the meantime.

That reminds me, the arms guy, Dick Arms, thinks that the DOW has confirmed the upward trend for the DOW Jones. That should bring the NAZ along where most of our good techs have their home.

Mrk and PFE have been doing well. Just keep an eye on drug bashing in this election. Happens almost every time when there is one. Always good for some votes.
