CompactFlash is the only type of memory mentioned. This seems to confirm that we are on our way to becoming the defacto FlashMemory type. Reassuring.

I am thinking about buying one of these. Was going to go for the Nikon 990 but am worried by the difference between Type I and Type II Compact Flash.

It seems Type II is cheaper, will there be retrofits etc.? Can anyone add some clarity to this?
