djia, I don't think this discount will last long. As things settle down in the coming days, we should get a significant narrowing. I had thought that the higher JDSU went, the greater the discount but still feel that as the stock settles down, the gap will narrow (even if JDSU goes higher to new levels,I expect the discount to shrink once trading volume comes down)
The current discount is a bit extreme is entirely a result of the S and P addition, IMHO.
