Hi Bill,

I'm making an educated guess Bill. You don't double the number of company of shares outstanding without someone buying them. On the first page of the notice of annual meeting of shareholders (dated April 21, 1997) for June 10, 1997, item #2 on the agenda is "to consider and vote upon a proposal to amend the Company's ........... to increase the Company's authorized Common Stock from 100,000,000 to 200,000,000 shares." The last split (2-1 split)was in 1994.

Now, TECD could split 3-2 and use the rest of the shares for bonuses and incentive plans for the employees. The point is TECD is selling at a discount right now. Check out the earnings on this company. The analyst seem to think it's worth a buy and hold.

Well, I'm looking forward to the TECD May 29, 1997 earnings report. Today marks the third down day for TECD which typically bounces back up on the fourth day. I added another 100 shares to my portfolio. That makes it 400 shares of TECD I'm holding.

Hey, a price spurt from $24 to $36 I can handle that! And, 800 shares (assuming a 2-1 split) that I can write covered calls would make me feel even better. I still think it's a good bottom fish!
