Random Comments Re Tonight's Posts: The last few months have been fun only if you think the Marquis de Sade and Martha Stewart would make fun party hosts. David's Spanish response deserves my equally pretentious (g) French homage to the Concorde: "c'est dommage! c'est tres dommage." As I am a college professor (film), I frequently have to remind students: "a lot" is two words; there ain't no single word "alot." Just thought I'd add this since I saw it in a previous post. Finally, while I'm hoping advalorem wins the pointless guessing game (what happens tomorrow is immaterial to what happens the following day, 3 months later, then 6, and on and on ad infinitum). But never one to shy away from inane exercises, here are my guesses: COMS (unchanged, +/- 1 point) COMSV (unchanged, +/- 1 point) PALM (the same price as the IPO, +/- 1 point) These guesses are reflective of my cynicism regarding this confusing spectacle of the last several months: in the short term it's "much ado about nothing." Long term, ask Mr. Mark and me how we feel about PALM and COMS next August. I suspect we'll be very happy "hold-em and love-em" campers.
