So far, so good. I will mainly use the auto- focus and such, and work my way up as I go along. I have been going back and forth for awhile, because I was not sure if I would use the editing capabilities enough to spend the extra money, compared to a High- 8. Then I found out that the resolution on a digital is far superior to the best analog resolution, and that sold me. The High-8's have 400 lines, the digital 500 (some of them a bit more). Sharper is better.........
