I do this now with a splitter.

That can't be done with DBS (unless you have dual LNBs or a multi-switch) due to the way the LNB "tunes" into the satellite transponders. Also, you would need a separate run of cable from the multi-switch or dual LNBs for each tuner.

NTSC tuners are built into virtually everything, and many televisions have dual NTSC tuners. No televisions that I know of have a built in DBS tuner (DirecTV or Dish), except for some new HDTV televisions which include an integrated DirecTV HD tuner.
