Randall answered the question as I would have. This really was a coup in the area of cross-licensing, because they WERE going to be giving up royalties to get the necessary IPR to produce multi-mode ASICs. Now they are not. In addition, SpinCo starts out with the advantage of not paying QCOM, therefore whatever IPR they are not able to cross license and do end up paying, they have that much cushion. All JMHO!

I was more interested in your opinion on SpinCo's ability to be the leader in multi-mode ASICs, specifically GSM/CDMA versions.
