Roebear, You could sell puts on the gold stock of your choice, but the "danger" is that you would have to own the stock at your strike price if the stock closed below it and your puts expired. It's a nice strategy to earn some extra income, while at the same time possibly picking up more of the gold stock you would like to own anyway should things turn very sour, and your upside potential for the next rally is left intact.....
