And Samsung still stays that DRDRAM will be almost 100% of workstations and 50% of desktops in a couple of years.

Let's save apologies until this story plays out. I posted several months ago that we were in the first inning of a long game. Maybe we're at the end of that inning now. RDRAM is in over 100 systems, has dropped in price from the $800 range for 128M to $300ish. Toshiba and Samsung have cost-reduction measures planned for RDRAM. The cost-adder shrinks even more for 256Mb chips. Two DRAM manufacturers are going to be paying Rambus royalties for SDRAM and DDR. And so on and so on.

And you think you've won? LOL!
