Mornin,' Dealer et al ... well, ...JDSU looks STRONG to me ... holding up very well. What carnage! ARRGGHHH! I covered my little short <g> ... made about 200 bucks after comms/fees ... was hardly worth it, that's for sure! I'm not used to shorting at all ... goes against the grain. I think it's very important, though ... as a hedging tool. How's everybody doing? You think my birthday had anything to do with this? <g> Is it possible to move one's birthday? I'd like to claim one in a GOOD month, like Dec. or Jan. I want to thank all of you again for your b'day wishes ... so many ... here and PM and email ... how very thoughtful of you. PS: This little guy who's stuck with me as his client on an IRA I can't move out of what is now Paine Webber gave me their "party line," as he and I call it ... they're reco-ing TXN and MOT as of yesterday. I already have both in form of 02 leaps but certainly could add to positions ... of the two I really like TXN for long-term (5 yrs) hold. Any comments? "b-i-a" ###
