Heck no, If I saw that you were really behind a company, I wouldn't touch it for a short. I may not play it on the long side, but I wouldn't short it. But in NUAN's case, they just have some cool buzz words and a huge market cap. More than anything, I think that the market is going to go through the rinse and spin cycles again. And as you pointed out, NUAN is the only s/w stock that hasn't taken a beating yet. Didn't short it and no puts on it available....bummer.
