This is my first post to this thread. I wandered in today from the MXTR thread... My profile: I'm a partner in a high-tech recruiting and consulting business, and I also manage my own retirement account. I'm pretty up-to-date and knowledgeable about MXTR (long-time investor). IMHO, MXTR is an excellent buy right now. If you compare the company's numbers over the past three years, I think they're looking pretty good at this moment. Although I was surprised at the steepness of yesterday's drop, I do know that all drive makers are very sensitive to any bad news at all in the PC sector. I consider this drop an excellent MXTR buying opportunity (I did put my money where my mouth is - two hours ago a bought a big chunk at 6 1/4). My expectation is that MXTR will see the 10-12 range again before year-end. They're gaining a reputation in the industry for reliability, quickness to market, and a good product. They've improved their position in the PC hard drive market and have recently introduced NAS products that seem to be very well received in the technical press. I think their ability to innovate, to be quick to market with a good product, and to expand their horizons to the NAS and remote device market makes 'em very attractive.
