This absurd mantra seems to be stuck in the computers that reporters use.

When will someone, anyone, reexamine this premise which seems totally out of line with any reasonable expectation for the future - especially as the GSM "upgrade" path loses speed and robustness and CDMA2000 proceeds at full speed.

And this residue sentence is a holdover from prior to Spinco.
