I asked you if you thought we were in a bear market for technology a while back, and I've copied your reply on to the bottom of this message. I saw your reply to Marginmike the other day on the 'Buy Range' thread about the same subject, and you had changed your mind. What convinced you?I see you're not buying now, but are do you think this is a short-term or long-term bear market? Do you think we're going back to April lows?

We are in BULL market that has valuation problems, throw in the slowing economy, the valuation problem becomes more noticeable. I'm not having any trouble pick stocks that have bottom, or are breaking out. I am seeing stocks with failed break-outs, but speculation is still alive. You have to be nimble and fast to protect profits, and blow out mistakes. You have to remember that many stocks have bottom and moved higher a very short period of time. It's normal for people to want to take profit after they went through a drop of the magnitude we had from March to May.
