FINANCIAL INTL-MARKETING-MANAGEMENT IMMM COLORADO OIL GAS V%BW P%BW

NEW WESTMINSTER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1997-- International Marketing Management Inc. (NASDAQ/OTC:IMMM) Chairman of the Board Jesse Taylor Thursday said that he believes that the recent rapid price decline in IMMM's common stock is a result of aggressive and manipulative short selling and not a reflection of the condition or outlook of the company.

Taylor stated: ``Like any emerging growth company we face our daily challenges and setbacks; however, overall the company is moving ahead on its schedule and the oil-and-gas exploration well in eastern Colorado was spudded on May 5, 1997, and is drilling its test of the fluvial formations to the Precambrian granite. Unseasonal inclement weather delayed the start of the drilling.

``With the completion of this first commercial test of the EM Sounder advanced resource-exploration technology we plan to move to the second drilling site immediately.''

Taylor continued: ``It is our intent to add significant value to the bottom line through the pursuit of the goals set out in our strategic planning. We are a technology-based company with interest in oil-and-gas exploration and natural-resource mining. I am highly confident about the direction and future growth of the company.''

The company is arranging support within the retail brokerage community in an attempt to slow the short-selling attack on IMMM stock. Under the advice of specialists it is considering a number of actions to force the short sellers to cover their stock positions.

Management feels that it is in the best interest of all of the shareholders who currently hold their shares in brokerage accounts in street names to order out their certificates now. This will force delivery of the shares to the shareholders from the Depository Trust Co. and the brokerages which are short will be forced to buy in the shares for actual delivery to their owners.
