i think it's highly likely that it is safe for the foreseeable future, say one year out. the only circumstance that could possibly make it unsafe would be a global recession, imo.

however, i'd contact the investor relations department and ask the company itself if plans to the contrary are afoot.

in any event, this stock looks very much bombed out. that said, i've seen bombed out stocks getting more so, and usually there's no hurry to pick up a wounded stock...they take forever to bottom anyway.
