Hey Tim, did you sneak into my basement to look at my turnips? The two future shocks are exactly the one I am expecting. Add to that that in February we will start and see less than stellar YOY comparison. The details, however, will probably be in the severity of the initial decline next year, if it is similar in percentage to what we saw in the March May period of this year, then the rest of the year will be Chinese torture with a possible strong rally from late July to September (in bear years, I often find the summer month to be relatively stronger), just to get killed again in October. Mind you, the turnips scenario for the next five years is a market bound between a high of about 13,500 to a low around 6000 on the Dow (last year, before the strong two months run, I actually had a lower upper target).
