irc server hwtech.dyndns.org, port 6667, channel #hardware Abit PR interviewee mentioned that their AMD760 motherboard will be announced in September (this seems pleasantly early to me). * [Athlon] Multiprocessor motherboard effort is "frought with difficulties" (doh!) * A K7 (Athlon/Duron) Socket to Slot adaptor "seems difficult" and "would require more man hours than our engineers are able to commit" (doh doh!!) * RAID in KA7-100 will be supported "when the RY BIOS is officially released" * KT7-RAID will support RAID, ATA100, and 4 IDE connectors. It will be released in 2-3 weeks, will get into mass production two weeks later, and will be generally available the week after <em>that</em>. Just wanted to give y'all a headsup. :)
