As a daytrader, I get plenty of Emails every day from individuals and groups of other day traders with
investment ideas for the day. Early on many were looking for coattail plays on Nokia's troubles. Some
Hasty Harry (I know who he is) did a simple search and found Nokia mentioned in a VLNC post here
as having their battery supplied by Valence. He Emailed many others, including me, that VLNC was a
short candidiate due to Nokia's woes. I didn't read the Email until after the market closed, just now
actually. It was the kind of day when the action was furious enough that I wasn't looking for
suggestions. Anyway, I composed a quick lovenote explaining that Nokia phones do not use VLNC
batteries and sent it through the same rounds. I suspect today's imbalance was partially attributed to
daytraders who fell for this Email. No wonder most daytraders can't consistantly make a living. I think
we'll see some very lucky daytraders quickly coving in the a.m..
