Hello All, I'm new to investing let alone technical analysis, but I hope you don't mind if I ask some dumb questions. First dumb quetion is, what is the cost of downloading the data you need, like closing, high, low, volume etc.? Can an old Dos-based 386 play the game? Do you have to have a real-time ticker to do technical analysis or can you just use end-of-day data? And as a bonus question, please tell me what a fanning trendline is? thanks for any guidance.
