And out of five DRAM types, only one is SDRAM and so covered by the agreement. The rest are from the days of TTL. BWAHHAHAHAHA!!! BWAHHAHAHAHA!!! BWAHHAHAHAHA!!! BWAHHAHAHAHA!!! This press release is a JOKE. Maybe mom and pop will be impressed and get burned in early trading, but I can't see any real analysts getting fooled by this. This is a sign of major trouble in Rambus patent land. They sign Toshiba, their bosom buddies. They sign Hitachi, but it turns out that Hitachi is only in the business for another six months. And now this. What are they doing??? Think about it guys. Rambus has stated that they have limited lawyer resources, and that they need to concentrate on the big sources of revenue before they go after all the companies that have designed SDRAM interfaces. But instead of going after the big guys, they give you this crap. Meanwhile management is dumping their shares on the market as fast as they can. Who knows, maybe they have a real ace up their sleeves, but this isn't it. I am not impressed. -- Carl
