Hi JTC!

If I had to guess which companies will make the most of this opportunity, my best bets would be NT, NXTL, VOD, and QCOM. I must admit that I haven't really been keeping up to date on Wireless 3G as a focus topic, so my view of the potential winners may be cloudy. There are so many different ways of playing new technological advances, semi components, FPD/LCD, infrastructure, basestations, handsets/PDAs, etc...

I think this is an excellent topic for the thread to consider giving a major focus. Many of the companies in the semi sector that we kick around here will be players in this emerging market. If we focus our combined talents on this issue, we might be able to stay ahead of the curve and profit from what we find.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention, JTC and I will add more on the subject in the near future. I've got a good friend who works at Nortel and we're meeting for lunch today. I'll ask him his thoughts on the subject as he usually has a unique insight into the comm. sector.

Michael
