TIP OF THE WEEK (or so they say...)

from David Einstein, columnist for Forbes Digital Tool

"Suppose you want to save a portion of a document
for later use. You can do it quickly by creating a
``scrap'' on the Windows desktop.

Here's how: With the document open, use your
mouse to select the text you want to save. Then
drag the block of highlighted text to any empty area
of your desktop. This will create a separate file on
the desktop containing the scrap. You can open and
edit it just by double-clicking the file's icon. Or, you
can paste the scrap into another document by
dragging the icon into an open document window."

it does seem like a pretty cool tip... i don't know how useful it will prove to be?
