Interesting comparisons. Thinly traded stocks such as IMMM can be subject to a number of different scenarios . The one which I believe is becoming the most obvious is following a typical pattern.

1. Small float , thinly traded

2. Speculative nature

3. Several periods of delay, creating frustration in a down market for small caps.

This type of stock is easily manipulated by any entity who
has the capitol. All they have to do is trade down the stock among themselves, usually just two involved in this type of scenario. They can buy and sell back and forth giving much less than stock should be trading at and shaking out the weak hands at no increased risk to themselves. After they have accumulated a lot of shares at ridiculous prices they then sell them back to you at drastically increased prices, usually after good news has leaked out or is released.
