I believe Elmer uses his IRA. For non IRA funds the effect difference in tax rate can be major. Day trading also has this tax problem if you are successful. I added 15% more stock to my AMD holding this morning. I think we have seen the worst of this slide. Scrumbia was very close with his call of the bottom at 70 1/2.
