A scary initial entry into the market for me. New to this thread, I think luckily for my education, considering I'm a complete novice. In the past two weeks, I put $30,000 into a number of high flyers like an idiot riding a wave, though my stance is completely long. No selling (too scared to trade now), just accumulation. But now I've stopped because everything I buy goes down the next day. Despite the high purchase prices, I still believe fundamentally in most of what I purchased: JNPR, NT, SUNW, JDSU, SDLI, ADCT, EXTR. I only panicked and sold NUFO, which I purchased impulsively.

Now I read about fibonacci numbers and such here. For right now, I just wonder, is there any encouragement that can be offered me? Will I find in three months that these holdings were worth the sleeplessness? Six months? Is it doom and gloom like it seems? I am NOT SELLING at any cost! How will I know when it is bottoming, so I can buy more? I would like to simply accumulate for about ten years to retirement. I believe long term in the tech stocks. Any kind words of encouragement for me to stay the course? I'm only here to learn. After this I won't waste your time with my uneducated postings. Thanks.
