HI CLINT!

>>Looks like Schittko's household... <<

BTW my wife kept her own name and i don't blame her but i was born with the name and it's familiar. Wouldn't be my first choice if i had one...

re german shepard: Hope i don't step on your toes but i'm not that fond of dogs. We have three cats(2indoor/1 outdoor)and i never thought i would have that many. Grew up with gold fish and hamsters in small apartment buildings in Germany and a dog was just too large of an animals for me. Like horses but hard to cuddle with them.

re market: peeked occasionally during the day today while moving boxes full of books and thought that the selling was really relentless today. Every time the NAZ wanted to move a little bit upward it was whacked again.
Actually bot some stocks in very small shares but let them go for small losses or for flat. Bot some TQNT (via buy stop)when it broke above 41 1/2 after basing under that level for some time but went away and got stopped out after it broke down. Flipped GSPN for flat but felt that the stock would be flying if market would only be slightly better. In general took home the cheap lesson that in these kind of sell off's i should wait for a clean up bar in the stocks i trade and not try to pick the absolute bottom.

Looked occasionally at your pick SDLI and noticed it's inability to even rally when the selling ceased. It's not "going like a greased pig"(SURESH said that 3-4 weeks ago and now i always have that picture when i see the ticker symbol-weird!) any more. Probably a sign that things are cooling in the market.AMCC's performance was another sign.

My wife actually bot some GLW and RFMD this morning before i got up and they held up fairly well. Don't know how she does it since she spents not that much time with picking stocks.

OK, time to go to bed and end of misc ideas and ramblings. Will probably have even less time the next two weeks and might not be prompt to answer any posts. Hope to be up and running with phone lines in the 3rd week of August but will drop in as long as headquarters are in the old place which is only a block away(very short move!!i can carry things over by foot!)
See you in a bit and hopefully see ya at the bottom!

Stefan
