TelMex, Talk Visual Sign Exclusive Inter-Operatability Agreement for Low-cost Videocall Transport

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2000--(OTC-BB: TVCP). TALK VISUAL CORPORATION announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement with the major Mexican telephone company TelMex. The agreement creates an inter-operability relationship between all of Talk Visual's locations in the United States and ninety-one (91) TelMex locations throughout Mexico, and allows for videocalls at unusually cost-effective rates.

Talk Visual's President and Chief Executive Officer, Eugene A. Rosov, said today "We are pleased to announce this accord with TelMex. It opens significant videocall traffic opportunities between our two companies, and our two countries. Initially, videocalls will be available starting on August 1 from our New York locations, and from all of our U.S. and Canadian locations, at a cost of $1.75 per minute. We will shortly expand to all available locations worldwide through our bridging service - which will open over 1,000 sites globally."

Chairman Michael J. Zwebner commented "this is another example of Talk Visual's remarkable ability to create high-level interoperations with major telephone companies around the world. The Company expects to significantly expand the availability of global locations from which and to which Mexicans can speak with friends, family and business associates. The TelMex system, designed originally for corporate video-conferencing, is being made available to ALL Talk Visual customers, whoever they are, and wherever they may be. We intend to expand this type of relationship to many other major PTTs - the foreign Postal, Telephone and Telegraph govermental and semi-governmental agencies - throughout the world."

Talk Visual will use its RADVision (NASDAQ: RVSN) IP/ISDN bridging capabilities to link calls from any desktop IP-enabled video camera to the ninety-one TelMex sites as well. "We will offer this bridging service at exactly the same cost of $1.75 per minute as our regular videocall room service," said Mr. Rosov. "The many millions of Mexican expatriates living and working in the United States now have the opportunity, for the first time in history, to see and hear their families and business associates without having to travel to Mexico. It's simple, efficient, and very low cost. The low cost, combined with the existence of ninety-one high-quality locations spread all over Mexico in cities large and small, means that virtually everyone in Mexico can use this service.

Mr. Rosov went on to comment "We believe that this service will have a meaningful impact on the growth of business between Mexico and the United States. In addition, businesses the world over can now make videocalls into Mexico, using our bridging services. Communication in business is everything - and this will make communication easier, faster, simpler and lower-cost."

Some of the major areas with ninety-one locations in key cities in the constellation of TelMex videocall locations include the states of Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Michoacan, Puebla, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Vera Cruz, Yucatan, Zacatecas, and of course Mexico DF (Mexico City).
