Dunno what OSI might use this for, just housecleaning old stuff Cadus Pharmaceutical Corporation (Nasdaq: KDUS) announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued patent number 5,753,446 to National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, Colorado, claiming assays for identifying compounds that regulate signal transduction by MAPK/ERK Kinase Kinases (MEKK1, MEKK2, MEKK3 or MEKK4). Also covered by this patent are assays to identify compounds that target related proteins and proteins containing sequences similar to the catalytic or regulatory domains of MEKK1, 2, 3 or 4. Cadus is the exclusive licensee of this patent.
