Since they all have cross-licensing agreements (wished I knew for how long) wouldn't that make a spinnoff worthless? No royalties to collect or MMs would have to pay them all a royalty if somehow the spinoff did work. No I am afraid I just can not see this scenario as very likely. RMBS would still demand 1% based on their patents dating to 1990. In fact if they tried this RMBS might consider demanding back royalties. Comments please from someone intellegent in these matters.
