teevee - An excellent summation of the situation I believe. DeBeers not only want into Canada, they desperately need to get in and get their hands on some very high caliber stones, and the sooner the better. They're not going to back off until they have WSP which is why I spend my time these days praying for another bidder. I believe that if pressured by a competing bid DeBeers is willing to go a lot higher than their pitiful $4.25.
PS - Do you personally believe that another player will join the game? If so who are your favorites?
