I know that whoever is holding the 35 shares short is probably worried to death. Heck, they probably shorted the whole lot at 5, and are desperate because of their $210 loss! They probably thought it was going to be a quick, easy $175 as MWAV fell to zero. Really, I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw the short interest figure.

If you are counting on the type of folks who would base their trade decision on what someone posts on Yahoo! to keep the price up, you should sell because you are admitting that the price is too high. The interesting thing about these message threads is we can counter false information by posting true information.

It's interesting that you bring up Tice and TYC and insist that he had a position, since he publicly stated that he had none. I didn't follow that one very closely, but I do recall that tidbit. Perhaps you are privy to his trading records and know differently? But what he did is very much protected speech. People are allowed to have and to express contrary opinions in the US. people are even allowed to be wrong in those opinions.

Personal attacks are a crime? You have to be kidding. Do you write up your own laws to suit yourself? False accusations can be criminal in very narrow circumstances, but most of the time those who are convinced that the shorts are conspiring against them have a big problem with labeling anything they don't want to hear as false.

The reality is that stock manipulation is almost exclusively done by folks who are long.
