Glad I Took The Vacation When I Did!!!

The market is looking in the mirror at the decline in April - May,and many will likely fear a repeat performance and continue to bail en-mass.http://wwwa.canada-stockwatch.com/sw/p/PortChart.cfm?region=U&what=chart&symbol=$@CCOWith the steep acceleration without a pause and bounce that many may have been expecting,I can only see this continue right down to the 3400 level reached at that time, before any bounce is recorded. The reason is simple... fear.

That fear will feed on itself as people realise there is nothing other than technicals at this time to support the index. The decline towards 3600 support has gained momentum, and it will take some fearless attitudes to step in before 3400 is reached. That is where I see a good bounce from to maybe 3700 again and level off at the 3600 for awhile.

Will it retest the May lows?

Maybe!

But not till later in the Month of August depending on the FOMC decision. That decision looks as murky as ever again after the GDP numbers, and the Fed will be aware of the implications of one more rate increase to the financial markets. They are certainly in a rough position here and I would not want the job of Mr. Greenspan right now.

Speaking of Mr. G.I find it interesting that his position has become one of debate. The bears think he has created a bubble -- the bulls think he is out to get them.Sounds like he's getting it just right!!Way to go ( Mr. Magoo )!

However, this managed style market has its drawbacks, and I would just as well the FED let the markets take care of themselves...whatever the outcome. This managed style market will eventually cause certain foreign investors to rethink their exposure to the " system " and repatriate their own market " system ".

Free markets is what built America, absence of free markets will have foreigners comparing it to the very countries it contradicts in fundamental economic policy...IE: Socialist or.... dare I say... communist?YIKES!!!

Well enough of this.My vacation is going well and I am about to make another move across this great country Canada (after finishing my latest Telecom contract), hopefully for the last time for the foreseeable future.I am actually considering checking out the good ole US of A that I have always enjoyed visiting. Wherever it is,it will be the West coast fer sherrrrrrrrr.

Good luck Clowns of all persuasions . Where would the world be without us ? Hardy har har ……..
