Hey man, it wasn't a "typo", it was just the flat "wrong" word!
And, it has everything to do with your credibility. We can only judge you by your literal posts, so if you keep pulling the Slip Mahoney-isms, we've got to assume you're a Bowery Boy.
Your "typo" response reminds me of the great Clinton rejoinder when he was caught doing a 180 - "I misquoted myself" was his reply.
So, let's be honest here - you can't admit to the thread that you didn't know the difference between entomology and etymology.
The delicious and hilarious irony for me was that you were lecturing somebody about the word meanings (the "entomology (sic) of babble"). How embarrassing!
And, then, when you're taken to task by me, you don't have the wit or grace to deal with it maturely without calling me names.
So, yes, lawdog, post your opinions by all means.
BTW, here's mine. You remind me of the execrable Ike Clanton character in "Tombstone" - he liked to use the term "lawdog" too, he was betting against the CSCO of the Old West (Wyatt Earp) and I'll wager he didn't know the difference between entomology and etymology either.
