Puts:
More short puts? If not, well, lots of opportunities ahead. Pervasive pessimism due to seasonality & upcoming FOMC perhaps.

Naked calls:
Yep, doing better in this market. An acquaintance of mine likes to initiate his position ~30% OTM. His ideal candidates were typically the issues that couldn't climb beyond 5% of their all-time highs. Factoring other indicators into consideration of course.
