Quiet indeed! I am no longer up by even 100% on my Softbank investment and I suspect that I may be doing better than some folks here. Not only are the days of doubling every few weeks or months apparently gone, but even doubling within a few years may become the mark of successful investing. I can recall the days when doubling in five years was considered to be pretty good. (I know that seems like a very long time ago in the distant past <G>).

BTW, perhaps your wife should look at Creative Biomolecules (CBMI), soon to be part of Curis (CRIS) as of July 31st. People are getting so clever about these new issues that I do not know if the new stock, Curis, will rise or fall when it is issued (probably August 1st).

The Perfect Storm was an exciting movie. I have a friend who abandoned a sailboat to be rescued by the Coastguard and a Cargo Ship that was headed for Ireland. He refuses to see the Movie. Once was enough.

If the NCBank deal blows up, will Softbank go up or down? I actually guess up. But I really don't expect any change in the deal. I suppose that all the controversy is indicative that Softbank is getting a reasonable deal.
