Hi kinetic

I think both FDRY and EXTR look attractive at these levels in terms of valuation (compared to typical New Economy stock) -- however FDRY has acted like a dog since its earnings report due to the concerns over growth. But i think in the long run it looks solid. I favor EXTR because of the R&D, and to be blunt the much smaller number of shares outstandinding.. which means it can go up a lot more dollarwise without impacting its market cap as much. Also the chart for EXTR is still favorable, while FDRY is demoralized (under 200 day moving average) Right now I dont know the bottom on it and it has a lot of resistance to work through on the upside. For the very long term investor these are not issues.. but for short or medium term investors they are problems.

Amazing thing is EXTR is still valued lower than Foundry on Price to Sales even after FDRY's haircut and EXTR's run up... shows you what a premium FDRY carried at its height to the sector.

I'd like to catch EXTR near $110 or so if the market gets rough this week.

I do love Nortel but NT is more of a "conservative big cap" name for me, so I wish ATON had stayed indepenedent for another year!

Good luck and I guess we close the chapter on our quiet ATON board here.

Wireless also looks good nowadays as the entire sector is whacked; apparently now wireless is going to go away due to 1 bad quarter for Nokia and Ericsson (haha) gotta love the sheep. Check out TriQuint (TQNT) 20% haircut Thursday and best fundamentals for the wireless semis.
