Mr Stephen Dattels reports
International Pursuit and Dayak Goldfields have received approval of
Dayak's shareholders for Dayak's plan of arrangement, and today, the
Ontario Court of Justice issued its final order approving the plan of
arrangement. As previously announced, the plan of arrangement relates to
the acquisition by Pursuit of all of the shares of Dayak not owned by it
and the issuance by Pursuit to shareholders of Dayak of 1.1 shares of
Pursuit for every three shares of Dayak. It is anticipated that articles of
arrangement will be filed with the director under the Business Corporations
Act (Ontario). The plan of arrangement will become effective upon the
issuance by the director of a certificate of arrangement.
