Apparently my confusion isn't that confusing...
As I look through the newspaper PCS is pounded into your head from Sprint and Pacific Bell. There is no distinction to the average consumer. Later on they talk about the new EDGE thing for Pacific Bell...

As I count the number of ads...there are nearly twice as many TDMA based companies than CDMA based. This is in the LA Times and the San Deigo Union.

I really think if Verizon and Sprint want to maintain their lead, they need to do some kind of name recognition for CDMA that distinguishes our product from the other guys. Right now, the only determining factor is price and location of the store.

BTW, I smashed my Q Phone's flast panel display. Glad I have that little insurance add on.
