Yes, many people did research Geist (maybe about 1 to 2 years ago now). He was involved with some scam stock (Solv-Ex, I think). If I remember correctly, something happened there. He was touting it big time, and got burned badly. Search SI for the Geist references (though they may be too old now to show up on an SI search). I think that Janice Shell may have also posted some of this stuff over on RB. If so, an RB search might turn up the posts where Geist's past mistakes were revealed.

As I recall, the Geist article was brought to our attention on the RB AZNT thread by the ineffable Ray-Jay Johnson, who presented him as some sort of hero. Don't remember when that was, but I think it was sometime last fall.

And yes, Geist got his clock cleaned in Solv-Ex, and has been trying to blame others for that ever since.
