Tom, Thanks for responding. Bear (oh, I hate to use that word unless it means another buying opportunity) with me--I know nothing and am trying to learn fast. Is your 26 week moving average the one represented on the chart you directed me to? It only says moving average. If that is the line that determines buying/ selling choices under the AIM (or similar--like PCA?) systems, is the "hold" band width around it(not shown on chart) a matter of subjective choice? More importantly to me, I was confused by another reply which explained to me that it would be disastrous for ADC to break below its 200 day moving average. No question, it would be so uncharacteristic of this particular stock, that it would likely indicate something went fundamentally wrong. But there is no indication for concern now, as far as I can tell. I mean, doesn't it still have a long, long way to drop before reaching that point, yet can it be it's only dropped one day on Friday (not sure)? Do you know anything about this company that can explain its uncharacteristically (for the market, I mean) steady performance? Also, since the growth rate presents so many selling moments under the AIM system, is it likely to divest completely into cash? Wouldn't you likely end up in just a few years with many fewer shares than when you started? I know I'm missing something and my question must seem dumb.
